From Our Project Director
Twelve months ago, I took up the role of Project Director at Little Scientists, blissfully ignorant of the mammoth year that would be 2023. Looking back, it’s still hard to fathom all the work achieved by our small but mighty team!
Our most ambitious work was to condense our 10 in-person STEM workshops from 7 to 3.5 hours to make our professional learning more accessible to educators and teachers. I am immensely proud of this effort and the feedback has been unanimously positive!
Thanks to the leadership of one of our exceptional trainers, Candace, we also developed a STEM Family Workshop. Our first family-focused STEM workshop to support parents and carers to extend early STEM learning into the home. We’re thrilled to now offer this in Sydney and Melbourne!
We also reflected on how best to connect with our community of early childhood educators and teachers online. We’re now sharing more early STEM resources on social media than ever before and have introduced Little Scientists’ first digital monthly newsletter. Subscribe if you aren’t already!
Thank you for being part of our passionate early STEM community. Please read on for more 2023 updates:

See you in 2024!
And with that, we say goodbye to another blockbuster year working with this amazing community of early childhood educators and early primary teachers. We can’t wait to get stuck into 2024 with you, refreshed from the festive season, with some BIG announcements on the way.
In the meantime, it’s never too early to start planning your STEM professional learning for 2024. We’re currently in the process of scheduling our in-person workshop calendar. You can already book into these in-person STEM workshops here, with more on the way.
