With an in-service workshop, a Little Scientists trainer travels to you to deliver your choice of workshop at a time that suits — lowering your PD cost, decreasing travel time, and helping to create a stronger team bond. This sets the foundation for a strong STEM teaching culture across your entire team and ensures every educator has a shared understanding of early STEM education principles and practices.
An in-service workshop also makes a substantial contribution towards your service’s Little Scientists House certification, which allows you to showcase your service’s commitment to high-quality early STEM education to your local community.
Being a Little Scientists House provides your team with access to a huge range of perks, like $20 off in-person workshops, $200 off in-service bookings, and STEM mentoring sessions, on top of 24-month national certification.
Are in-service workshops flexible? An in-service workshop can be tailored to your needs. For example, an in-service workshop could be booked for one educator team or bring together educators from multiple services to undertake professional development together. Additionally, you could book one workshop, two workshops in one day, or invest in a STEM professional development package, in which educators undertake multiple STEM workshops over a longer duration.
