Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?

Brown bear

In a colourful parade of observers being observed, the bear sees a red bird, who sees a yellow duck, who sees a blue horse and so on. The rhythm, colours and animals will appeal to younger children and can raise some questions: Are all frogs green? Have you ever seen a purple cat?

With older children, you could explore perspectives: Who is looking at whom? With stand-in animal toys, they could explore, where the red bird needs to be positioned to be looking at the brown bear and at the yellow duck at the same time. Can they find positions for all the animals? Where do the children need to be to see all the animals? How many animals can you look at at the same time?
