This is a story about a bunch of fun-loving, colourful and friendly aliens, whose only purpose for visiting Earth is to get their hands on some underpants. Get creative and dream up your own stories about why aliens might want to visit us. What do we have that doesn’t exist in space? What might they want to do with it? What do the children think aliens look like? How would they get to Earth? Do the children want to design their own spaceships?
With our book recommendations, we want to spark an interest in children to discover STEM in their everyday lives. Most books go beyond the obvious STEM connections and can be a great starting point for exploring children’s questions and ideas further.
