Perfect square

Picture book - Perfect square by Michael Hall

Get creative with shapes by looking at all the things that can happen when you take a square apart. In this book, the square can turn into all kinds of wonderful things. What attributes does a square need, to be classified as a square? Which other shapes do the children know? You could ask the children if they want to cut out their own shapes and see what they can be turned into.
