Family Nights

A STEM Family Night  (or end-of-year event) is a mini-STEM workshop facilitated by a Little Scientists trainer for the children and parents at your service. They provide a meaningful opportunity to build a stronger connection between families and educators and give parents the confidence to continue age-appropriate STEM education at home.

Sydney-based services can book a STEM Family Night for the not-for-profit rate of $650 (up to 80 family members). A perfect end-of-year event!

What happens at a STEM Family Night?

A STEM Family Night is typically held after-hours and runs as two back-to-back 30-minute sessions (1 hour total) with up to 40 family members per session (up to 80 family members total).

A session involves a Little Scientists trainer facilitating a mini-STEM workshop, in which families engage in explorations and challenges at a variety of STEM stations. For example, one STEM station might challenge families to create the tallest structure out of just toothpicks and tape!

STEM Family Nights are full of laughter and joy and give parents confidence to spot the STEM learning opportunities at home. For services, they provide an impressive and professional educational event for families to attend, without adding to the workload of your educators, and shows your service’s commitment to STEM education.

Little Scientists is excited to bring our STEM Family Nights to Sydney for the not-for-profit rate of $650.

End-of-year bookings are limited, so book your preferred date(s) today by filling out the form.
